Grounded therapy for high-achieving adults in North Seattle, Kirkland, and Bothell navigating trauma and emotional disconnection
Brianna Clement, LMHC, depth therapist for shame, trauma, and midlife identity in Bellingham and Seattle WA

Hey, I’m Brianna

Relational Shame Therapist

One way to respond to loss is to harden up and not need anybody. I used to pride myself on being a hustler, always rushing from one task to another, unable to rest. Though I was unaware at the time, my tough exterior was a brilliant way to camouflage my unmetabolized grief in this performance-driven society.

Meet Brianna Clement · LMHC

Sometimes what looks like ambition is just a productive way to stay hidden.

I work with insightful adults who are highly skilled at coping, achieving, and caring for others — while staying disconnected from their own needs and emotions.

Themes you might relate to:

  • Family secrets you're tired of hiding

  • Grief shaped by suicide or addiction loss

  • Wanting closeness and fearing it at the same time

  • Spiritual confusion that feels hard to name

  • Self-awareness that hasn't translated into change

About Me

It would be unfair to invite you into treatment as a client if I didn’t also know what it means to be a client with all its vulnerability. Coming from a background where the concept of therapy was foreign, seeking help was an initiatory process of surrendering my ego mind. What a relief it is to learn how to let go without giving up.

Outside of my work

Wisdom

Wisdom traditions such as yoga, breathwork, and meditation have been powerful companions in my own unfolding. In support of decolonization efforts, I acknowledge the relatively recent presence of yoga and meditation in the U.S. and honor its roots in India. I am deeply grateful and pay respect to those who have come before me.

Inspiration

One of the greatest tensions I carry is the balance between safety and adventure. Travel opens my soul, pushing me beyond comfort and inviting me to face challenges that expand my perspective and humility. Yet I also find peace at home, where I can explore my inner world and create cozy sanctuaries to cocoon into.

Personality

Clients often tell me that what sets me apart is my ability to challenge them with nurturing authority. I bring a quick wit and a rebellious spirit that questions the status quo without losing sight of what actually helps. My work is compassionate, playful, and practical—offering radically honest support in service of your most authentic self.

Embodied therapy for Edmonds, Woodinville, and Bellevue adults ready to stop managing and start changing

My Method

My rich inner life lent itself naturally to becoming a depth-oriented therapist. Depth psychology is best applied to those in midlife, when change feels urgent. We will explore the hidden parts of your waking mind through felt experience and symbolic image. One of the most rewarding parts of my job is watching how grief designs the exact bridge needed for generative growth.

In our work together, my aim is not to lead you toward perfection, but to reacquaint you with your purest form.
