I specialize in supporting mid-career professionals in their 40s/50s navigate traumatic loss and shame. Within this specialization, I work with all bodies, ethnicities, countries of origin, genders, religions, and sexual identities, holding reverence for your unique experience and worldview. 

I offer both in-person and online appointments to make support as accessible and convenient as possible. In-person sessions will be held in my office in Bellingham, WA.

Ketamine is a dissociative anesthetic used therapeutically to treat various mental health conditions, including depression, anxiety, and PTSD. Known for its rapid antidepressant and mood-enhancing effects, ketamine can start working within 1-2 hours after treatment and may provide relief for up to 2 weeks. 

Ketamine can be administered in various ways, including IV infusion, intramuscular injection, nasal spray, or sublingual lozenges. In my work with collaborating providers, we exclusively use the sublingual lozenge form.

You may feel 'far from' your body and experience shifts in perception that can feel expansive. Your motor and verbal abilities will be reduced, so you'll be lying down in a comfortable position. Once the effects subside, we'll have time to process and discuss your experience. Although it can be difficult to articulate what happened during the session, many people find the insights gained to be clear and profound. 

Embodiment is a living, breathing philosophy that we are inherently whole. There are things in our lives (traumatic loss, relational ruptures, inability to feel safe, etc.) that fragment us, and somatic tools can help bring us back home to ourselves.

Somatic therapy is using the body as a valid source of information and approaching existing sensations with curiosity. I will guide you to observe and embody your felt experience instead of overriding, ignoring, and pushing past its signals. I will teach you why it is important to sit with dysregulation without panicking. The body will lead us toward reclaiming your unmet needs to clarify your innermost desires.

No. Many adults experience grief during life transitions such as divorce, career changes, or identity shifts.

There is no one “acceptable” or “normal” form of grief. While grief is universal, we all express it differently. Complicated grief occurs when the bereaved is lacking a sense of containment for a prolonged period. In other words, you may find yourself unable to make meaning from the loss or adapt to your new reality. Some indications this may be happening are an inability to complete daily tasks, chronic withdrawal from social situations, not feeling real, or like you’re stuck in a dull dream you can’t wake up from.

In depth therapy, all parts of you are brought into conversation: mind, heart, body, and soul. My job is to help you gently integrate the conscious parts of your life with the less conscious parts to help you feel empowered to make informed choices. This can be done through body scanning, speaking freely, mindful inquiry, imaginative resourcing, and dreamwork.
